Dear Alibaba Cloud users: To improve the user experience of ENS, we plan to adjust the metric categories and upgrade the UI of CloudMonitor for ENS. This improves your experience when you use CloudMonitor to monitor ENS resources and generate alerts.
Update description
Starting from December 31, 2024 (UTC+8), Alibaba Cloud adds all metrics for Edge Node Service/X86 VM and Edge Node Service/GPU VM in CloudMonitor for ENS to the ENS directory. For more information about the adjusted metrics in the ENS directory, go to the CloudMonitor Metric page.
The preceding directories and metrics are retained until March 1, 2025 (UTC+8) for you to migrate historical dependencies such as alarm rules.
It is estimated that Edge Node Service/X86 VM, Edge Node Service/GPU VM, monitoring panels, and data directories, including
Namespace: acs_ens,ProductCategory:ens_x86, andens_gpu, will be discontinued by March 1, 2025 (UTC+8). The detailed time and announcement will be updated. Be prepared in advance.

Metric changes of instance Internet bandwidth
The Internet Inbound/Outbound Bandwidth by IP in Edge Node Service/X86 VM is merged into Internet Inbound/Outbound Bandwidth per Minute by Instance.
Changes
Metrics by instance or IP are collected by instance.
The calculation method for metrics is changed from maximum to sum. The metrics are not affected because the actual sampling frequency is once per minute.
The unit is changed from Kbps to Mbit/s.
