Port Type
Layer 2 port: On a Layer 2 port, users can deploy Edge Virtual Links (EVLs) to connect to another edge access port or edge shared cloud access port.
Layer 3 port: Users can deploy Edge Virtual Border Routers (EVBRs) on a Layer 3 port for accessing multi-point networking business instances.
Hybrid Port: On a hybrid port, users can deploy both Edge Virtual Link (EVL) and Edge Virtual Border Router (EVBR).
Port Bandwidth
The maximum bandwidth value under your control on the port.
You can click Add a shared port for other ports. A single page can support up to 10 edge access ports.
Select the user agreement and click Submit an application for shared ports.
Step 2: Requirement review
Alibaba Cloud engineers will review your requirements. During the process, our engineers will contact you if needed. Please make sure we can reach to you.
Step 3: User payment
After our engineers receive resource planning results from suppliers, you can make the payment by clicking the payment link in the console.
Step 4: Testing and acceptance
After line construction is completed, test the lines and accept the delivery.
Step 5: Confirm service start time
During the acceptance testing, our engineers will contact you to check the testing status and coordinate a service start time with you. You will have three days to confirm or reschedule after the agreement is made.
If you confirm the service start time, the billing cycle for the edge network access port and line instance will start at that time.
If you want to reschedule, Alibaba Cloud engineers will assist you in doing so.
If you neither confirm nor reject, the system will automatically start the service after the three days.
Step 6: After-sales service
Once you've confirmed the service start time, after‑sales support begins.
Manage the service in the ENA console. Alibaba Cloud will set up a DingTalk service group with 24/7 support. Issue reports and cutover notifications will be sent in the group.
