Subscription instances support refunds. Pay-as-you-go instances do not — charges only apply after use, so no payment is collected in advance.

Refunding methods

Subscription | Apply for a refund. The system settles the payment based on the specifications of the subscription instance you purchased. For details, see Methods for unsubscribing resources. |
Pay-as-you-go | Refunds are not supported. To stop being charged, release the instance in the EMR console. After the instance is released, no further charges accrue. |
