After creating a pay-as-you-go E-MapReduce (EMR) Serverless StarRocks instance, you can switch its billing method to subscription. Subscription billing reserves resources in advance, which is more cost-effective for long-term use.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that:

The instance belongs to your Alibaba Cloud account

The instance has no unpaid order for a billing method change. If an unpaid order exists, cancel it before placing a new one.

The instance is in the running state
Switch to subscription

Log on to the EMR console.

In the left-side navigation pane, choose EMR Serverless > StarRocks.

In the top navigation bar, select the region where your instance is deployed.

On the StarRocks page, find your instance and click its name in the Instance ID / Name column.

On the Instance Details tab, click Switch to Subscription to the right of Billing Method.

In the Switch to Subscription panel, set the Subscription Duration.

Read the terms of service, then click OK.
