Data caching supports pay-as-you-go billing. You are charged hourly based on the cache quota you request and the actual running duration of the cache cluster. This topic describes the billing rules and regional pricing.
Billing description
-
Billing rule: You are charged based on the cache quota you request and the running duration of the cache cluster.
-
Billing cycle: Fees are calculated at every clock-hour (UTC+8). After each billing cycle, the system generates a bill and deducts the fees from your account. Bill amounts may be delayed relative to actual consumption. For more information, see Understand Alibaba Cloud bill.

Billing example
Suppose you configure a 3.5 TB cache cluster in the Singapore region that runs daily from 14:00 to 18:00. The daily cost is calculated as follows:
3.5 × 1024 × 4 (hours) × 0.000289 = USD 4.14
You are charged based on the cache quota you request, regardless of how much data is actually cached. For example, if you request a 3.5 TB cache quota but only 2 TB of data is preloaded, you are still charged for 3.5 TB.
