In Alibaba Cloud E-MapReduce (EMR), EMR on ECS depends on Elastic Compute Service (ECS). Some operating systems will reach or have reached End of Support (EOS) in ECS. This affects the running and maintenance of EMR clusters. This topic describes the operating systems that will reach or have reached EOS in ECS and the affected EMR versions.
