The new E-MapReduce (EMR) console is now generally available. It introduces a redesigned cluster management experience, faster cluster creation, and new capabilities — including EMR Doctor and EMR Workbench — while remaining fully compatible with the old console.
To switch from the old console, click Upgrade the new console in the upper-right corner of the old EMR console, or go directly to emr.console.alibabacloud.com.

Manage clusters more efficiently
The cluster management page has been reorganized to reduce the number of clicks for common tasks:
High-frequency operations appear directly in the Actions column, so you don't have to navigate into each cluster to perform routine tasks.
The All Operations button gives quick access to the full set of O&M operations from a single entry point.
Intelligent refresh keeps cluster status current in real time, and page transitions are noticeably smoother.
Dark mode is available to reduce eye strain. To enable it, click the
icon in the upper-right corner.
Find and monitor clusters faster
The Overview page now serves as a unified entry point for cluster discovery and cost visibility:
A global search box lets you locate any cluster by name or ID, then jump directly to its management page.
The Cluster Fees module surfaces the status of your orders, so you can track spending without leaving the console.
The cluster list supports filtering by cluster status or cluster type, making it easier to find what you need in large environments.
Deploy clusters with more than two times faster creation
Cluster creation has been significantly reworked to reduce both setup time and configuration errors:
Five new cluster types — DataLake, OLAP, DataServing, Dataflow, and custom — let you select services based on your workload. The speed at which an EMR cluster is created is increased by more than two times.
Expanded on-screen guidance and configuration validation catch invalid settings before submission, reducing failed cluster launches.
A modifiable configuration list gives you fine-grained control to adjust cluster settings after initial setup.
