Elastic IP Address:View operation records

Last Updated:Nov 24, 2023

This topic describes how to view operation records of Elastic IP Address (EIP). Operation records are generated when you access or manage resources and help you analyze how you use resources.

Background information

The operation record feature of EIP is integrated with the event management feature of ActionTrail. ActionTrail is a service that monitors and records activities within your Alibaba Cloud account. Records are generated when you use the Alibaba Cloud Management Console, call API operations, or use SDKs to access or manage services on Alibaba Cloud. For more information, see What is ActionTrail?

Procedure

  1. Log on to the Elastic IP Address console .
  2. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the EIP is created.
  3. On the Elastic IP Addresses page, find the EIP that you want to manage and click the ID of the EIP.

  4. On the details page, click the Operation Records tab.

  5. On the Operation Records tab, view the operation records.

By default, the operation records of the EIP within the last seven days are displayed. You can search for operation records by using filter conditions such as Event Name and Operator. The following table describes the supported filter conditions.

    Filter condition

    Time range

Specify the time range that you want to query.

Valid values: 1h, 12h, 1d, 7d, and 30d. You can click Custom to specify a custom time range. You can query the operation records within the last 90 days. To query operations that were recorded more than 90 days ago, create a trail in the ActionTrail console. For more information about how to create a trail, see Create a single-account trail.

  6. Optional: Click View Event Details in the Actions column to view the details of an event.
