Cloud computers of the Enterprise Office type provide the same performance as cloud computers of the General Office type, but are more cost-efficient. Cloud computers of the Enterprise Graphics type are accelerated by professional GPUs that deliver excellent performance.

What is the difference between the Enterprise Office type and the General Office type?
Cloud computers of both types with identical specifications deliver the same performance and user experience. However, Enterprise Office cloud computers are lower in price.
How do I change a General Office cloud computer to an Enterprise Office cloud computer?
To change a General Office cloud computer to an Enterprise Office cloud computer, you must change the configurations of the original cloud computer. For more information about how to change the configurations of a cloud computer, see Change the specifications of cloud computers.
If you purchased a pay-as-you-go General Office cloud computer, the price of the Enterprise Office type takes effect after you change the General Office type to the Enterprise Office type. The amounts on the new bills shall prevail.
If you purchased a subscription General Office cloud computer, you can go to the Change Resource Configurations page and select the Downgrade tab to change the General Office type to the Enterprise Office type. On the Downgrade tab, you can purchase a cloud computer that has higher specifications at a lower price. After the configurations are changed, you can receive a refund based on the price difference between the specifications of the two cloud computer types.
For example, you purchased a General Office cloud computer that has 4 vCPUs and 8 GiB memory and whose price is USD 78.69 per month. You can downgrade your cloud computer to the Enterprise Office type to save costs. The highest specification of the Enterprise Office type is 8 vCPUs and 16 GiB memory, and the price for the specification is USD 46.98 per month. After you downgrade your cloud computer, the system calculates the price difference and issues a refund based on the calculation result.
If you purchased a General Office cloud computer during sales promotions and the price of the cloud computer type is lower than the price of the desired cloud computer type to which you want to upgrade or downgrade, the system does not issue a refund.

Will the General Office type be removed? Am I still able to use General Office cloud computer after the General Office type is removed?
Yes, the General Office type was removed on March 22, 2022 in regions excluding China (Hong Kong). From March 22, 2022, you cannot purchase General Office cloud computers in regions inside the Chinese mainland. Take note that you can still purchase General Office cloud computers in the China (Hong Kong) region. If you purchased your General Office cloud computers before March 22, 2023, you can continue using the cloud computers. We recommend that you change the General Office type to the Enterprise Office type to reduce cloud computer costs.
Can I request a refund for the payment made on General Office cloud computers?
No, you cannot request a refund.
What are the characteristics of Enterprise Graphics cloud computers?
Enterprise Graphics cloud computers are GPU-accelerated computers. You cannot upgrade or downgrade the specifications of Enterprise Graphics cloud computers. You can use Enterprise Graphics cloud computers in the following scenarios:
Real-time rendering for cloud gaming
Real-time rendering for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications
AI (deep learning and machine learning) inference for elastic Internet service deployment
Educational environments that involve deep learning
Modeling experiment environments that involve deep learning
