Preemptible instances are offered at a discounted price compared to pay-as-you-go instances. You can view the bills of preemptible instances to calculate the invoice discount and actual cost of the preemptible instances.
Note ECS automatically adds the key:acs:ecs:payType value:spot tag to all preemptible instances. Therefore, you can filter ECS instances that have the key:acs:ecs:payType value:spot tag in the exported bill, and calculate the invoice discount and pretax gross amount of the instances.

  3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Spending Summary > Spending Summary.

Enter the ID of a preemptible instance in the Instance ID field, and then click Search to view the bills of the preemptible instance. In these bills, you can view the service duration, pretax gross amount, invoice discount, and payable amount of the instance.

    • View the bills of multiple preemptible instances at a time.
      1. Select Elastic Compute Service for Product Name from the drop-down list.
      2. Click Customize Column Options in the upper-right corner of the billing details list. In the dialog box that appears, select the Instance Tag option. Then, click OK.
