This ID Verification Device Guard Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) applies to registered users of Alibaba Cloud services (“Customers”) who use the ID Verification Device Guard SDK. This notice explains how we process data for this service for the purposes described in this notice, as permitted by applicable law.
In what roles does Alibaba Cloud process data?
This product provides the ID verification device guard service to Customers. When providing this service, we act as a data processor or service provider for our Customers. We only process data that we receive from our Customers and on their behalf. We do not act as a data controller.
Data collected and processed by the ID Verification Device Guard SDK
The ID Verification Device Guard SDK predicts whether a device is authentic, whether its facial recognition environment is secure, and whether attacks such as injection occur during facial recognition. To provide these predictions, the SDK collects, uses, or processes device data at your request. You must obtain all necessary authorizations from your end users.
The ID Verification Device Guard SDK may collect, use, and process the following data from the Customer's end users:

(1) Device basic information: device manufacturer, device brand, device type and model, device name, device operating system, device memory and storage size, battery and power information, baseband information, boot time, screen brightness and resolution, CPU information, system time zone, system language, charging status, system kernel information, sensor list, light sensor information, Boot ID, MEDIA ID, IDFV (optional for iOS only), and CookieUID (optional) | Collected directly by the SDK at the Customer's request.

We retain the collected data for 30 days to troubleshoot and resolve service issues. After 30 days, the data is permanently deleted. Within this 30-day period, the Customer can request to delete this data.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
We may periodically update this Privacy Notice in response to changing legal, regulatory, technical, or business developments. We will communicate any changes to this Privacy Notice by posting an updated version on this website. The updated Privacy Notice is effective immediately upon posting, or on a date specified by Alibaba Cloud. We may also, at our discretion, notify you of any changes to this Privacy Notice. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by a notice on this website before the change becomes effective.
