Use Trace to build an HTTP/S request, and ESA will display the matched configurations. Trace requests simulate tests to track configurations on records even if they have not been proxied. The requests support custom conditions, including geographic location, HTTP protocol, and request headers. For websites with security protection enabled, you can choose to skip the security challenge test.
Traceable features
Before you begin
Make sure that your website status is active on ESA.
Build a trace request
Log on to the ESA console. In the left-side navigation pane, choose
Enter the URL you want to trace and custom request properties. You can specify the region and ISP, and click More to specify HTTP Protocol, and Request Header. You can also choose to skip security challenge tests.

Click Send Request.
Assess the HTTP status code on the upper-right corner and the ESA configuration that corresponds to the request. The results will display the supported features and the number and names of rules matched.
NoteIf your website has security rules with rate limits, the number of Trace requests you initiate must exceed the configured threshold to accurately show the configuration.
