    Edge Security Acceleration:Get a free ESA plan

    You can use the ESA Entrance plan for free and unlock Chinese mainland acceleration by posting. You can also post weekly to claim the Pro plan an unlimited number of times.

    Method 1: Use the Entrance plan for free and post to unlock Chinese mainland acceleration

    1. Access: The ESA Entrance plan is free long-term. It offers unlimited traffic and speed, and requires no redemption code or task. Simply register an Alibaba Cloud International Website account to use the plan. You can go to the ESA console at any time to add your site and select the free Entrance plan. By default, Chinese mainland acceleration is not included.image

    2. Post to unlock Chinese mainland acceleration:Publish a post with text and images that recommends Alibaba Cloud ESA Pages on any social media platform or blog, such as Linux.do, V2EX.com, X.com, Juejin, Zhihu, Xiaohongshu (post example), Bilibili, your personal blog, facebook.com, or youtube.com. Your post must meet the following requirements:

      1. Share your experience using ESA Pages, such as project showcases, product comparisons, deployment steps, or creative demonstrations. The post must be at least 30 words long.

      2. Add the following tags at the end of your post: #AlibabaCloudESA #ESAPages #FrontendDevelopment

      3. Include at least one official image. We recommend also adding a screenshot from your own use to help your post gain more exposure.

      After posting, provide your post link and your Alibaba Cloud account ID. Then, join one of our community groups to claim the reward for unlocking Chinese mainland acceleration. The reward will be distributed within two business days.

    Method 3: Post an unlimited number of times to get the Pro plan

    Important

    This event ends on March 22, 2026, at 18:00.

    Starting July 7, 2025, all users can participate in the Post to Obtain ESA event. Post as required to receive a voucher equivalent to a one-month Pro plan every week. The voucher can also offset excess traffic fees. Posts with high readership have a chance to win the Premium plan. The event steps are as follows:

      If your post remains online for 1 week, post again to receive a voucher for a 1-month Pro plan. Repeat this process to post and claim a voucher each week. The team will also select some posts with over 10,000 views and award vouchers for a 1-month Premium plan!

    FAQ

    How do I use the Entrance plan after unlocking Chinese mainland acceleration?

    1. When adding a site: When adding a site, select the Global acceleration region and choose the Entrance plan.image

    2. For an existing site: In the console, go to Websites. In the Website column, click the target site. On the right side of the Overview page, switch the acceleration region of the site to Global.image

    After purchasing the Pro or Premium plan, can the remaining voucher value be used to cover other fees?

    Yes, it can. The remaining voucher balance can cover traffic fees that exceed your plan's quota. It can also be used to purchase new plans or upgrade existing ones.

    How do I find my Alibaba Cloud account ID?

    In the Alibaba Cloud Management Console, click your profile picture in the upper-right corner to locate your account ID.image

    How many times can each account claim the Pro plan?

    There is no limit. However, when you apply, we link your social media account to your Alibaba Cloud account. Your social media account and Alibaba Cloud account are bound. Each social media account can claim the reward only once per week.

    Besides posting for the Pro plan, what are other ways to get it?

    You can join ESA's Discord community, where redemption codes or cash coupons will be distributed through various activities.

    After my Pro or Premium plan expires, can I downgrade to the free Entrance version?

    The feature to migrate a site from the Pro or Premium plans to the Entrance plan is coming soon. Currently, continue to obtain the Pro plan by posting weekly.

    How to increase your chances of getting the Premium plan?

    Post more valuable content on social media, such as product reviews and usage tips. Posts with more likes and comments have a greater chance of receiving a Premium plan.

    When does the promotion to obtain the Pro and Premium plans by completing tasks end?

    The ESA team will determine the end date based on user participation. The end date will be announced in this document before the event ends. Stay tuned.

    Can I delete my post immediately after unlocking Chinese mainland acceleration?

    We encourage honest participation. To avoid having your Chinese mainland acceleration access revoked, keep the post online.

    How to tell if an account is a special channel partner account?

    If you access and use Alibaba Cloud with an account provided by a channel partner, go to the Account Center. In the navigation pane on the left, click Security Settings and check whether the Distribution Relationship section exists. If it exists, this account is a special channel partner account.

    Xiaohongshu Post Example

    When publishing a post recommending Alibaba Cloud ESA on Xiaohongshu, include the following content:

    • Share your experience using ESA Pages, such as project showcases, product comparisons, deployment steps, or creative demonstrations. The post must be at least 30 words long.

    • Add the following tags at the end of your post: #AlibabaCloudESA #ESAPages #FrontendDevelopment

    • Include at least one official event image.

      Note

      Avoid using terms that may violate platform policies, such as free membership, obtain coupon, best, number one, top-tier, or absolute, because Xiaohongshu may reject your post. You can use the Lingke Word Checker website to check for problematic words.

    What is the validity period for the vouchers?

    Cash coupons are valid for 365 days (coupons issued on July 7, 2025, are valid for 2 weeks). Once a cash coupon expires, it becomes invalid. The social media or Alibaba Cloud account used to claim the coupon will be considered to have participated in the activity.
