You can enable TCP multiplexing to reduce the transmission delay of your services. This topic describes how to enable this feature.
Notes
This feature is available only for domain names that are accelerated over TCP. It is not supported for domain names that use UDP.
You can enable or disable TCP multiplexing for each origin server port. This feature is disabled by default.
Use case
You can enable TCP multiplexing if the response to a single request is smaller than 5 KB.
Process
Log on to the DCDN console.
In the navigation pane on the left, click IP Application Accelerator.
On the IP Application Accelerator page, click Configure next to the target domain name.
On the Performance Optimization page, turn on the switch for the port that you want to accelerate.
Acceleration results
The yellow line represents the transmission delay when TCP multiplexing is enabled. The overall delay is significantly reduced.

The actual delay varies based on the specific cases.
