Edge Security Acceleration:Change the service location

Change the service location to adjust the DCDN acceleration coverage for your domain name.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DCDN console.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Domain Names.

  3. On the Domain Names page, find the target domain name and click Configure.

  4. On the Basic Settings page, find the Basic Information section.

  5. In the Basic Information section, click Modify next to Location.

  6. In the Location dialog box, select a region for the domain name.

    Description

    Chinese Mainland Only

    If you select Chinese Mainland Only, all requests go to POPs in the Chinese mainland. Requests from outside the Chinese mainland are routed to China Telecom (East China Division) POPs. The domain name requires a valid ICP number (Limits).

    Global

    If you select Global, all requests go to the nearest POPs. The domain name requires a valid ICP number (Limits).

    Global (Excluding the Chinese Mainland)

    If you select Global (Excluding the Chinese Mainland), all requests go to POPs in Hong Kong (China), Macao (China), Taiwan (China), or other countries and regions outside the Chinese mainland. Requests from the Chinese mainland are routed to POPs in Japan, Singapore, or Hong Kong (China). No ICP filing is required.

  7. Click OK.
