When an application is abnormal, you can view its real-time logs in the Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) console to troubleshoot issues related to pods. Use real-time logs to identify errors, trace application behavior, and validate fixes without leaving the console.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure that you have:
An application deployed in a Kubernetes cluster managed by EDAS
Access to the EDAS console
View real-time logs for a pod
Log on to the EDAS console.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Application Management > Applications.
In the top navigation bar, select a region. In the upper part of the page, select a microservices namespace.
From the Cluster Type drop-down list, select Kubernetes Cluster.
Find the application that you want to manage and click the application name to go to the application details page.
In the left-side navigation pane, click Logs, and then click the Real-time Logs tab.
From the Pod Name drop-down list, select a pod. The real-time log output for the selected pod appears.
Control log refresh
The Real-time Logs tab provides an Auto update toggle. Turn on Auto update to automatically refresh the log output every 10 seconds.
