Enterprise Distributed Application Service (EDAS) supports two billing methods: pay-as-you-go and subscription. You can switch between them based on your usage patterns and cost needs.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure that you have:
An activated EDAS instance
Access to the EDAS console
Switch from pay-as-you-go to subscription
After you switch to subscription, the temporarily free quota of five application instances in pay-as-you-go mode no longer applies.
Log on to the EDAS console.
In the upper-right corner of the Overview page, click Switch to Subscription.
In the Switch to Subscription message, click Switch.
On the buy page, select an edition, specify the maximum number of applications based on your business requirements, and complete the payment.
Switch from subscription to pay-as-you-go
To switch from subscription to pay-as-you-go, submit a refund request through a support ticket. After you receive the refund, choose the pay-as-you-go billing method and activate EDAS again.
The ticket submission process differs depending on whether your subscription is active or expired:
Active subscription: Submit a ticket to request a refund before the subscription expires.
Expired subscription: Renew the subscription first, then submit a ticket to request a refund.
Submit a refund ticket
Log on to the EDAS console. In the upper-right corner of the page, choose .
On the New Ticket page, click Financial Support in the Consulting section, or click Enterprise Distributed Application Service in the More Product And Service Category section.
Set the Case Severity parameter, enter a description in the Case Content field, and click Submit.
After the ticket is handled and you receive the refund, log on to the EDAS console. and click Activate for Free to reactivate EDAS.
Existing application instances are not affected after the switch to pay-as-you-go.
Between the refund and reactivation, the EDAS service remains available, but console operations are disabled. Reactivate EDAS as soon as possible to restore full console access.
