Elastic Compute Service:View and modify elasticity assurances

Procedure

1. Go to ECS console - Resource Advisor.

2. In the upper-left corner of the page, select a region and resource group.

3. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Guaranteed Provision > Resource Reservations.

4. On the Resource Reservations tab, set Reservation Type to Elasticity Assurance.

5. In the elasticity assurances list, view or modify an elasticity assurance.

   • View the status, instance type, zone, and private pool usage of an elasticity assurance in the list.

   • Click an elasticity assurance ID to view details such as associated instances.

     The Associated Instances section lists all instances created from the private pool of the elasticity assurance.

   • Click an elasticity assurance ID. Click the icon next to a parameter to modify its value.

• DescribeElasticityAssurances: queries elasticity assurance details, including status, private pool type, expiration time, effective time, and the number of instances that have used the assurance.

• DescribeElasticityAssuranceInstances: queries running ECS instances that match and use the elasticity assurance.

• ModifyInstanceAttachmentAttributes: modifies the match mode of a private pool.
