E-HPC itself is free. You pay only for the underlying cloud resources that run your clusters—no platform fee, no service fee.
Note: Clusters created in the new version of E-HPC no longer incur service fees. You are charged only for the resources provisioned within your cluster, such as Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, Apsara File Storage NAS file systems, and Elastic IP Address (EIP).
Billing of resources in E-HPC clusters
When you create a cluster, E-HPC automatically provisions ECS and EIP resources on your behalf. NAS must be purchased separately before cluster creation. All three resources are billed by their respective services at standard rates.
| Cloud service | Description | Pricing | References |
|---|---|---|---|
| ECS | E-HPC clusters use ECS instances as nodes. When you create a cluster, an ECS instance that meets your requirements is automatically purchased for the cluster. | ECS pricing | Billing overview |
| NAS | E-HPC clusters use NAS file systems as shared storage for cluster nodes. You must purchase a NAS file system before creating a cluster. | NAS pricing | Billing of General-purpose NAS file systems |
| EIP | Elastic IP addresses provide Internet access for your cluster. When you create a cluster, the system automatically creates an EIP and binds it to the logon node (standard deployment). EIP charges are based on the traffic that is generated. The EIP uses a bandwidth of 100 Mbit/s. | EIP purchase page | Billing overview |
