Data Transmission Service:Manage a data integration task

After you configure a data integration task, you can stop, resume, or delete the task.

Prerequisites

A data integration task has been created. For more information, see Configure a data integration task between RDS MySQL instances.

Operations and impact

The following table describes the operations that you can perform on a data integration task and the impact of each operation.

Stop a data integration task

  1. Log on to the DTS console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Data Integration.
  3. At the top of the Data Integration Tasks page, select the region where the target data integration task is located.
  4. Find the target data integration task and click its instance ID.
  5. Click Stop Task.
  6. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK. The task status changes to Paused.

Resume a data integration task

You can resume a data integration task only when the task is in the Paused state.

  1. On the task details page, click Resume data integration task.

  2. In the confirmation dialog box, click Confirm. The task status changes to Running or Ready, and DTS resumes scheduling.

Delete a data integration task

Warning

After you delete a data integration task, you cannot resume the task. Proceed with caution.

You can delete a data integration task.

  1. On the task details page, click Delete Task for data integration task.

  2. In the confirmation dialog box, click Confirm. The task status changes to Deleted.
