Data Transmission Service:Manage data integration tasks

Last Updated:Jun 20, 2026

After configuring a data integration task, you can stop, resume, or delete it.

Prerequisites

A data integration task is created. For an example, see Configure a data integration task between ApsaraDB RDS for MySQL instances.

Background information

The following table describes the effects of each management operation on a data integration task.

Actions Effect
Stop Task The task's status changes to Paused and the task is no longer scheduled.
Note You can resume a paused task by clicking Resume Task.
Resume Task The task's scheduling resumes, and its status changes to Running or Ready. DTS then generates a data migration task at the scheduled time.
Delete Task The task's status changes to Deleted and the task is no longer scheduled.
Important A DeletedResume data integration task task cannot be resumed. This action is irreversible.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the DTS console.
  2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Data Integration.
  3. At the top of the data integration task list, select the region where your task is located.
  4. Find the target data integration task and click its instance ID.
  5. In the Actions column, click Stop Task.
  6. In the dialog box that appears, click Confirm.
  7. For a Paused data integration task, you can either resume or delete it.
    • To resume the task, click Resume Task, and then click Confirm in the dialog box that appears.
    • To delete the task, click Delete Task, and then click Confirm in the dialog box that appears.
