Before you log on to your bastion host from a Windows or macOS client to perform O&M operations on an asset, you must install a database O&M tool on your host. This topic describes the database O&M tools and versions that are supported by Bastionhost.
To ensure the stability and security of Bastionhost, we recommend that you use a database O&M tool that is described in this topic to connect to your bastion host. This prevents connection failures or impacts on the stability of Bastionhost. The service-level agreement (SLA) does not apply to the database O&M tools that are not described in this topic.
For example, when you use FinalShell to connect to your bastion host, a large number of exec sessions are generated in a short period of time, which affects the normal sessions and the use of the bastion host. If you want to use FinalShell, you must clear the Exec Channel option to ensure O&M connections.
