Private Zone is an upgrade to Alibaba Cloud DNS PrivateZone with new features and a redesigned console. You can switch between the new and old consoles, but you will permanently lose access to the old console if you use any of these new features: creating acceleration area domain names, creating cache retention domain names, enabling traffic analysis, or adding intranet resolution lines.

Fees are calculated as follows: (1) For Regular area domain names: A domain with 100,000 or fewer DNS records counts as one billable domain. If a domain exceeds this limit, divide the actual number of DNS records by 100,000 and round up to the nearest integer. (The default quota is 100,000 DNS records. To increase this limit, submit a ticket.) (2) For Acceleration area domain names: A domain with 1,000 or fewer DNS records counts as one billable domain.
