Private Zone supports line-based smart DNS resolution, returning preset DNS records based on the query source. Supported line types: Default Line, Alibaba Cloud Line, and Custom ACLs.
Supported line types
1. Default line
Equivalent to a global line. Use this as a fallback to ensure DNS records are returned when no other smart line matches.
2. Alibaba Cloud line
Supports region-level and zone-level granularity.
Important: When you select a zone-level line (such as Singapore - Zone C), the resolution strategy takes effect only for DNS queries from that specific zone. If you need the resolution strategy to cover all instances within a region, select the region-level line (such as Singapore) instead of a specific zone.
