Purchase policy
Cloud DNS Custom Edition no longer provides new purchase services for users. Users who have previously purchased the Custom Edition can continue to use it.
Upgrade policy
Cloud DNS Custom Edition no longer provides configuration upgrade services for users.
If the configuration of your purchased Custom Edition does not meet your business requirements, we recommend that you purchase Cloud DNS Hosted public zone (Subscription) (Personal Edition/Enterprise Ultimate Edition) and select an appropriate version. You can then directly attach your domain name to the version package. This attachment process is a smooth transition and will not cause any interruption to DNS resolution.
Renewal policy
For Cloud DNS Custom Edition, if you need to renew, the maximum renewal period cannot extend beyond January 1, 2025. Therefore, we recommend that you directly purchase Hosted public zone (Subscription) (Personal Edition/Enterprise Ultimate Edition) and directly attach your domain name to the new version instance. This attachment process is a smooth transition and will not cause any interruption to DNS resolution.
When purchasing a new version instance, please ensure that the features of the new version instance align with or exceed the features of your current Custom Edition instance. For more information about the features of the new instance, see Instance selection guide. You can view the features of the old version instance on the renewal interface in the console. After comparing, you can select an appropriate new version instance.
Refund policy
If your Custom Edition has not expired but you want to switch to a new package version, we can refund the remaining balance of your Custom Edition. Additionally, to ensure a smooth transition for your business, we recommend that you follow these steps:
First, purchase a new version package.
2. Directly attach the domain name to the new version instance.
3. Finally, visit Instance packages, go to the Public Zone tab, obtain the product instance ID of the Custom Edition that you want to unsubscribe from, and submit a ticket to request a refund. (Specify that the reason for the refund is to switch to a different Cloud DNS instance package)
