Overview
Batch management records include two features: batch modification of DNS records and batch deletion of DNS records.
Prerequisites
The domain names corresponding to the DNS records must be in the DNS resolution list. Otherwise, the operation will fail.
Batch modify DNS records
Batch modification of DNS records allows you to set the DNS values (host record, record value) before and after modification. Cloud DNS can complete batch modifications based on the specified conditions.
Procedure
Log on to Alibaba Cloud DNS - Public Zone.
Click the Batch Operations button.
On the Batch Operation page, click the Domain Records tab, choose Manage DNS Records, and Batch Modify DNS Records.
In the input box, enter the domain names for which you want to modify DNS records. Separate different domain names with a carriage return.
Set the specific values (host record, record value) before and after the DNS record modification. You can add multiple conditions for the pre-modification settings by clicking the + icon. You can also select Match Any Condition or Match All Conditions. Click OK and Cloud DNS will perform batch modifications based on the specified conditions.
For the results of batch modification of DNS records, on the Batch Operation Logs tab, click Download Log Details to view the task execution results.
Batch delete
Batch deletion of DNS records refers to the batch deletion of DNS records that meet the specified deletion conditions.
Procedure
Log on to Alibaba Cloud DNS - Public Zone.
Click the Batch Operations button.
On the Batch Operation page, click the Domain Records tab, choose Manage DNS Records, and Batch Delete DNS Records.
In the input box, enter the domain names for which you want to delete DNS records. Separate different domain names with a carriage return.
Set deletion conditions for the specified host record or record value. You can add multiple deletion conditions by clicking the + icon. You can also select Match Any Condition or Match All Conditions. Click OK, and Alibaba Cloud DNS will delete the DNS records that meet these specified conditions. (You can also choose to delete all DNS records including subdomains within a domain name.)
You can view the results of batch deletion of DNS records by clicking Download Log Details on the Batch Operation Logs tab.
