To continuously improve product service stability, Alibaba Cloud international site Cloud DNS plans to upgrade the console on July 25, 2025 (UTC+8). This upgrade will not affect your normal service usage or the normal effectiveness of DNS resolution. The main changes in this upgrade are as follows: Domain names not registered with Alibaba Cloud must be attached to a paid DNS instance for authoritative DNS resolution. DNS resolution for non-Alibaba Cloud registered domain names without attached instances will continue to function normally. However, you cannot modify the DNS records.
The Free Edition of authoritative DNS resolution does not have resolution nodes outside of China and does not provide Service-Level Agreement availability guarantees. We recommend using the paid DNS version. The paid DNS version has hundreds of nodes across 27 regional clusters worldwide, providing you with global resolution acceleration and more reliable resolution service stability.
