Overview
DNS record templates let you add or modify the same DNS records for multiple domain names in batches.
Add a template
Adding a template involves two steps: enter a template name and add records and record values.
Procedure
Log on to the Alibaba Cloud DNS - Authoritative DNS console.
Click the Batch Operation button. By default, you are directed to the Domain Name > Add Zones tab.
Click DNS Templates > Add Template.
Enter a descriptive template name, and click Next.
Next, you can click Add Hostname, select a Record Type based on your requirements, enter a Hostname and a Record Value, click OK, and then click Next.
Click Back to return to the DNS Templates tab. Next to the target template name, click the Settings button, enter a domain name, and then click OK. The DNS records configured in the template are applied to the domain name you enter.
WarningThis feature first deletes all existing DNS records for the specified domain names, including subdomains, and then adds the new records from the template.
Modify a template
To modify a DNS record template before applying it to domain names, follow these steps.
Procedure
