Data Management:Share the SQLConsole tab or a ticket

Last Updated:Oct 16, 2023

To improve user experience and reduce operational costs, Data Management (DMS) allows you to share the SQLConsole tab of a database instance or a ticket with other users by using a share link. This topic describes how to enable the sharing feature. This topic also describes how to configure the parameters for sharing the SQLConsole tab of a database instance or a ticket with other users.

Scenarios

  • Share the SQLConsole tab of a database instance with a new employee to help the employee get familiar with the business.

  • Share historical tickets with a security administrator for auditing.

  • Share historical data change tickets with a new employee who wants to obtain the historical change records of relevant database instances.

Usage notes

  • DMS allows you to share the SQLConsole, Lockless Change, and Data Import tabs of a database instance with other users. However, you cannot share the Schema Design tab of a database instance.

  • Only valid users within DMS tenants are allowed to visit a share link. To view the valid users, perform the following operations: Log on to the DMS console as an administrator. In the top navigation bar, choose O&M > Users.
