[Notice] Integration of Database Backup (DBS) into Data Management (DMS) - Data Management

To enhance user data management efficiency and experience, Database Backup (DBS) is integrated as a module into Data Management (DMS) and continues to provide services with a new name Data Disaster Recovery.

Integration period

The integration begins on January 6, 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of February 2025.

You do not need to take any action during the integration period. If you have any questions, submit a ticket.

Integration details

Function migration and portal adjustment
- Existing DBS tasks: Existing DBS users continue to use services as expected. Existing functions, including related API operations, CLI commands, and capabilities to create or use services, remain unchanged and work as expected.
- DBS console: After the integration is complete, Data Disaster Recovery (DBS) is added under Security and Specifications (DBS) in the DMS console. You can access DMS in the following modes. At the same time, the original DBS console and access portal are closed.
  Normal mode
  Simple mode
- Related product names: The product names in channels such as the official website, documents, and notifications are changed.
Document migration
DBS documentation is integrated as a module into DMS documentation for reference.
