Data Disaster Recovery provides features such as full backup, incremental backup, and data restoration. After you purchase and configure a backup schedule, you can manage the backup schedule at any time.
Procedure
Log on to the DMS console V5.0.
In the top navigation bar, choose
.NoteIf you use the DMS console in simple mode, move the pointer over the
icon in the upper-left corner of the DMS console and choose .
Find the backup schedule that you want to manage and then click Manage in the Actions column. On the Configure Task page, perform the following operations.
Configure the backup source
You can modify the information such as the database location and connection address for a backup schedule in the same manner that you configure the backup schedule.
In the Basic Information section, click Edit Backup Source.
After the configuration is complete, click Next and Save.
Configure the backup object
You can modify the information such as the database object for a backup schedule in the same manner that you configure the backup schedule.
On the Configure Task page, click Edit Backup Objects in the Basic Information section.
After the configuration is complete, click Save.
Configure the backup time
You can modify the information such as the backup time for a backup schedule in the same manner that you configure the backup schedule.
On the Configure Task page, click Backup Time and Advanced Settings in the Basic Information section.
After the configuration is complete, click Save.
Enable or disable incremental log backup
If you disable incremental log backup and only enable full data backup, the system no longer provides the real-time data protection. To use the real-time data protection feature, you must enable incremental log backup and full data backup at the same time.
On the Configure Task page, click Enable Incremental Log Backup or Disable Incremental Log Backup in the Task Running Information section.
Perform the following operations:
Enable incremental log backup.
Click OK. After the precheck is passed, click Start Task.
Disable incremental log backup.
Click OK.
Configure the backup lifecycle
You can modify the information such as the backup lifecycle for a backup schedule in the same manner that you configure the backup schedule.
On the Configure Task page, click Edit Lifecycle in the Lifecycle Information section.
After the configuration is complete, click Save.
Pause the backup schedule
If a running backup schedule no longer works, you can pause the backup schedule The backup schedule can be started again after it is paused.
Find the backup schedule that you want to pause and choose .
NoteTo restart a backup schedule, find the backup schedule that you want to restart and click Start.
Select the pause method.
Click OK.
