Last Updated:Mar 28, 2026

Data Management (DMS) lets you adjust the console layout and appearance to match your workflow. The DMS console V5.0 supports two modes — simple mode and normal mode — each with its own set of customization options.

Simple mode

  1. Log on to the DMS console V5.0.

  2. Configure the settings based on your needs.

SettingDescription
Frequently Used FeaturesDisplays your recently used DMS features for quick access.
SkinsSets the console color scheme. Select the Blue skin (default) or the Dark skin for the DMS console.

For a full overview of simple mode, see Simple mode.

Normal mode

  1. Log on to the DMS console V5.0.

  2. On the right side of the top navigation bar, click the 5设置 icon.

  3. Configure the settings based on your needs.

SettingDescription
Drop-down Menus in Top Navigation BarControls how top-level navigation works. On (default): clicking a top-level directory in the top navigation bar opens a drop-down menu so you can jump directly to any feature under that directory. Off: the top navigation bar no longer shows drop-down menus — access features through the left-side navigation pane instead.
Content Displayed in Left-side Navigation PaneSets what appears in the left-side navigation pane. After you turn on Drop-down Menus in Top Navigation Bar, you can determine what is displayed here. Tabs: shows second-level and third-level menus. Resources: shows the instance list. If Drop-down Menus in Top Navigation Bar is off, the left-side navigation pane shows menus only, regardless of this setting.
ShortcutsOn (default): a Shortcuts bar appears below the top navigation bar. Click it to open a dialog box, then click the 5星号 icon next to any feature to pin it to the Shortcuts bar.
Show TabsOn (default): each feature opens in its own tab, letting you work with multiple features at the same time. Drag tabs to reorder them. Off: only one feature is open at a time, and it is displayed on a tab.
SkinsSets the console color scheme. Select the Blue skin (default) or the Dark skin for the DMS console.
