Authorize Data Management (DMS) to access cloud resources. This grants DMS the permission to access cloud products that provide data services. After you grant the authorization, you can use DMS to access and manage resources from Alibaba Cloud services, such as RDS, MaxCompute, and Object Storage Service (OSS).
Prerequisites
You are using an Alibaba Cloud account or a Resource Access Management (RAM) user that has the AdministratorAccess policy.

Authorization notes
You only need to grant permission to access cloud resources once:
If you grant the authorization using an Alibaba Cloud account, the RAM users under this account do not need to be authorized again.
If you grant the authorization using a RAM user, the parent Alibaba Cloud account and other RAM users under that account do not need to be authorized again.
Authorize an Alibaba Cloud account
Log on to the DMS console V5.0.
In the Cloud Resource Authorization dialog box, click Go To RAM Role Authorization.
NoteThe Cloud Resource Authorization dialog box appears only when you first log on to the DMS console.
If the Cloud Resource Authorization dialog box does not appear when you log on to the DMS console for the first time, you can go to the Resource Access Management quick authorization page.
On the Resource Access Management Quick Authorization page, click Confirm Authorization.
Authorize a RAM user
Go to the Cloud Resource Access Authorization page.
On the Resource Access Management Quick Authorization page, click Confirm Authorization.
