Compaction service restart notification

To support the commercial launch of Data Lake Formation (DLF), we will be performing gradual restarts of the compaction service within the storage optimization module. These restarts will be conducted on a regional basis, commencing on the evening of November 3, 2025.

Impact

During the restart windows, compaction tasks for Paimon tables may experience brief delays. Users who have configured compaction delay alerts in CloudMonitor might receive related notifications. These delays are temporary, and normal service will automatically resume once the restart for a given region is complete.
