Direct Mail:The Description of the Invalid Address

Last Updated:Apr 19, 2024

Invalid Address Description

Invalid addresses are classified as global invalid address and account-level invalid address. If the recipient returns multiple invalid address semantic rejections, the corresponding receiving address will be automatically added to the global invalid address library. If the recipient rejects delivery once due to invalid address, it will enter your account-level invalid address library. The account-level invalid address library between different users does not affect each other, while the global invalid address library is shared by all users.

Currently, Direct Mail allows you to manage account-level invalid address library. You can enter addresses to the account-level invalid address library, remove addresses from the account-level invalid address library, and Set effective range on the Invalid Addresses in the Console.

Note

The operation of the account-level invalid address library takes effect only for the current user.

If the address you want to deliver is in the invalid address library, an error will be reported when the address is delivered to the recipient. For such an error, you can find it in the Delivery Log.
