This topic describes how you are charged for Elastic Compute Service (ECS) resources after you deploy ECS instances on a dedicated host.
Billable item
For ECS instances that run on a dedicated host, you are not charged for the vCPUs, memory resources, and local SSDs of the instances. However, you are charged for the images, disks, public bandwidth, and snapshots of the ECS instances. The following table describes the billing details. ① indicates a combination of billing methods that has a favorable price.
Resource | Description | Billing method | References |
---|---|---|---|
Image | Image fees are determined based on the image type and your usage. |
Disk | Disk fees are determined based on the disk capacity and usage duration. |
Snapshot | Snapshot fees are determined based on the snapshot size and storage duration. |
Public bandwidth | If you use a public IP address to access the Internet, you are charged only for the outbound public bandwidth. |
