DataWorks:Access and export sensitive data

Last Updated:Mar 26, 2026

The Data Access page shows access volume, access trends, and export volume for sensitive data identified by your configured rules. Use it to monitor who is accessing your sensitive data, how often, and how much data is being exported. Data from both MaxCompute and E-MapReduce (EMR) engines is supported.

Data becomes available one day after you configure sensitive data rules. If you don't see data yet, check back the following day.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that you have:

  • An Alibaba Cloud account authorized to use Data Security Guard. For details, see Data Security Guard

Open the Data Access page

  1. Log on to the DataWorks console. In the top navigation bar, select the desired region.

  2. In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Development and O\&M > Data Development. Select your workspace from the drop-down list and click Go to Data Development.

  3. Click the icon icon in the upper-left corner, then choose All Products > Data Governance > Data Security Guard.

    • If your account has the required permissions, the Data Security Guard homepage opens directly.

    • If your account lacks permissions, you are redirected to the authorization page. Complete authorization before continuing.

  4. Click Try Now to enter Data Security Guard, then click Data Access in the left navigation pane.
