The data risk feature allows you to view data risks that are identified by using the configured risk identification rules based on multiple dimensions. On the Risk Overview tab of the Data Risks page, you can view the distribution of data risks in different dimensions, the trend of data risks in a specified time range, and the rankings of workspaces in which most data risks are identified. You can obtain the time ranges and workspaces in which a large number of data risks are identified on this tab. On the Risk Details tab of the Data Risks page, you can view details about a data risk, such as the user who performed a risky operation on data, the time when the risky operation is performed, and the specific operation that is performed on the data. This helps you locate and handle data risks at the earliest opportunity. This topic describes the data risk feature.

Prerequisites

The new version of the risk identification rule management feature is enabled. The new data risk feature works with the new version of the risk identification rule management feature. After you use the new version of the risk identification rule management feature to configure risk identification rules, data risks are identified based on the rules and are displayed on the Data Risks page of the new version.

Limits

The new data risk feature is supported only in the China (Chengdu) region.

Go to the Data Risks page

Go to the Data Security Guard page.
1. Log on to the DataWorks console.
2. In the left-side navigation pane, click Workspaces.
3. In the top navigation bar, select the region where the workspace that you want to manage resides. Find the workspace and click DataStudio in the Actions column.
4. Click the icon in the upper-left corner and choose All Products > Data governance > Data Security Guard.
5. Click Try now to go to the Data Security Guard page.
In the left-side navigation pane of the Data Security Guard page, click Data Risks.
You can obtain an overview of data risks on the Risk Overview tab and view the details about the data risks on the Risk Details tab for the current tenant. For more information, see Obtain an overview of data risks and View details about data risks.

Obtain an overview of data risks

The Risk Overview tab displays the data risks that are identified for the current tenant in different dimensions such as data risk types, risk levels, and trends in risks. This helps the current tenant understand and manage the data risks.


Section	Description
1	In this section, you can view the numbers of data risks of the following categories for the current tenant: pending risks, total risks, high risks, medium risks, and low risks.
2	In this section, you can view the distribution of high risks, medium risks, and low risks that are identified for the current tenant in a doughnut chart. You can click a slice of a specific color of the doughnut chart to view the number of data risks of a specific risk level.
3	In this section, you can view the distribution of different types of data risks such as data access risks, data operation risks, and data export risks for the current tenant in a doughnut chart. You can click a slice of a specific color of the doughnut chart to view the number of data risks of a specific risk type.
4	In this section, you can select a time range to view the trends of the number of data risks in the specified time range. When you move the pointer over a data point in the line chart, the number of data risks that are generated on a specific day in the x-axis of the line chart is displayed.
5	In this section, you can view the workspaces in which a large number of data risks are identified for the current tenant. This helps you quickly identify risky workspaces and manage the data risks in a centralized manner.

View details about data risks

The Risk Details tab displays details about a data risk, such as the data risk name, the data risk type, the user who performed a risky operation on data, the time when the risky operation is performed, and the data risk status. You can trace the cause of the data risk and troubleshoot the issue at the earliest opportunity based on the data risk details. In this example, All Risks is selected on the Risk Details tab to show you the details about data risks.


Section	Description
1	In this section, you can view the numbers of data risks of the following categories for the current tenant: pending risks, all risks, handled risks, and normal data events.
2	In this section, you can click a data risk type to view the number of data risks of the selected type of data risk. By default, all types of data risks are displayed.
3	In this section, you can view the data risks that match the specified filter conditions. You can view details about a data risk, such as the data risk name, the data risk type, the data risk level, the user who performed a risky operation on data, the time when the risky operation is performed, and the data risk status. In this section, you can perform the following operations: Search for data risks Click the icon next to the Risk Name or Operator field to search for a data risk whose details you want to view by the risk name or the user who performs a risky operation on data. Note You can perform a fuzzy match when you search for a data risk by name or operator. After you enter a keyword in the search box, data risks whose names or operators contain the keyword are displayed. Sort out data risks Click the icon next to the Risk Level or Occurrence Time field to sort data risks in ascending order or descending order based on the risk levels of the data risks or points in time when risky operations are performed. Filter data risks by status Click the icon next to the Risk Status field to display handled data disks or unhandled data disks. Note The Risk Status column is displayed only when you select All Risks in the section marked with 1 in the preceding figure. View the general information about a data risk Click the icon in the Actions column of the desired data risk to go to the page that displays the general information about the data risk. You can trace the cause of the data risk, and locate and troubleshoot the issue at the earliest opportunity based on the general information about the data risk. Tag data risks Click the icon in the Actions column of the desired data risk to change the status of the data risk to handled or normal.
