DataV:Refund policy

Last Updated:Jun 16, 2026

To get a refund for a DataV instance, use the Resource Unsubscription feature. This topic describes how to unsubscribe from DataV.

Unsubscription concepts

DataV supports the following unsubscription types: Five-Day Unconditional Refund and Partial Refund.

You can unsubscribe within five days of purchase unconditionally, or after five days for a valid reason.

Self-service unsubscription flow

Note

After an instance is released, your saved visualization projects and other production content are kept for 15 days. If you repurchase the product during this period, you can resume your work.

  1. Go to Expenses and Costs.

  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Resource Unsubscription.

  3. On the Resource Unsubscription page, click the Unsubscribe Resources tab. Select Partial Unsubscription as the type and search for your instances. Select the instances that you want to unsubscribe from and click Unsubscribe Resources.

  4. Select and enter a reason for unsubscribing. Read the Unsubscription Rules, select the confirmation checkbox, and then click Unsubscribe Now.

  5. Your unsubscription request has been submitted. Wait for the process to complete.

Manual unsubscription flow

If a cloud product or physical good does not support self-service unsubscription, submit a ticket for manual review and refund.

  1. Submit a ticket. Select Finance > Unsubscription Inquiry. Provide details such as the reason for unsubscription, the product, and the instance.

  2. An engineer will review your request to determine if it meets the unsubscription conditions. If approved, the engineer will help you complete the unsubscription. The instance is released immediately, and the refund is credited to your account within 2 to 3 business days.
