Validation records document the outcomes of quality rule validations across Dataphin data tables, global data tables, metrics, data sources, and real-time metadata tables, facilitating the review of each quality rule's validation results.
Permission description
Super administrators and quality administrators have access to all validation records.
Project members can access the validation records of the projects they are part of.
Ordinary members can access validation records for data tables where they are designated as quality owners. Specifically, ordinary members with a custom global role that includes Quality Rule-Management permissions can access validation records across any account.
Operation permissions vary by object. For more information, see Validation Record Operation Permissions.
View validation records from different perspectives
Dataphin enables the examination of quality rule validation records from three perspectives: Global, Project, and Personal.
Global: Super administrators and quality administrators can globally access all validation records.
Project: Super administrators and quality administrators can navigate between projects to access validation records. Project members are limited to viewing validation records for the projects they have joined.
Personal: Super administrators and quality administrators can view any member's validation records. Ordinary members can only access validation records for which they are the quality owners and are unable to switch perspectives.
If quality rules have permission restrictions, these take precedence over other permissions.
Validation records displayed from the project perspective are limited to those under the specified project.
From the personal perspective, only the validation records where you are the quality owner are shown.
