Dataphin provides built-in data classification models aligned with various industry standards to simplify detection rule creation. You can import these classifications from the template library.
Manage template library
-
At the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page, select Administration > Data Security.
-
In the left-side navigation pane, choose General Configuration > Data Class. On the Data Class page, click the Template Library tab.
-
The Template Library tab provides built-in data classification templates for various industries, including general detection, finance, energy and power, Internet of vehicles, and intelligent connected vehicle classification and grading.
-
Select a template library to view its data classification information. The directory tree on the left shows the hierarchy of the selected template. When you select a directory, the list on the right displays the classification details, including names/descriptions, abbreviations, data grades, and related directories. To view all data classifications under the template, click All Classifications.
-
General Detection Template: Covers personal, enterprise, and device sensitivity information.
-
Finance Industry Classification And Grading: Encompasses business, customer, and management classes.
-
Energy And Power Industry Classification And Grading: Includes personnel, security, customer, market, material, comprehensive, finance, asset, and project domains.
-
Internet Of Vehicles Industry Classification And Grading: Features basic attribute, application service, environment perception, vehicle control, vehicle condition data, and a default classification.
-
Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Classification And Grading: Comprises cloud (Internet of vehicles cloud control platform), human (vehicle user information), road (driving record), and vehicle (vehicle status) data.
-
-
(Optional) To find a specific classification template in the template library, enter the classification name, description, or an abbreviation keyword in the upper right corner. Alternatively, you can filter for templates based on the specified Data Sensitivity Level.
-
The following operations can be performed on the target template:

Import data classification template library
You can import data classifications from the template library in three ways: click the reference icon next to a classification directory, click Batch Reference Add Data Classification at the bottom of the directory tree, or select classifications in the list and click Add To Data Classification in the batch operation area.
-
In the Batch Reference Add Data Classification dialog box, configure the parameters.
Parameter
Description
Classification Template
Choose the template containing the data classification you wish to import.
Add To Directory
Choose the classification directory where the imported data will be categorized.
Import Content
Specify whether to import the directory structure along with the classifications. Options: Import Only Classification or Classification + Directory.
-
Import Only Classification: Adds all selected classifications as tiles under the specified directory, suitable when the addition location is predetermined.
-
Classification + Directory: Adds the selected classification directories and their classifications to the next level under the specified directory, preserving the original hierarchy. If the import exceeds the directory level limit, it fails.
Duplicate Classification
Specify how to handle duplicate classifications during import.
-
Skip: Duplicate classification names within the same directory will be skipped and not added.
-
Overwrite Update: When a classification name within the same folder matches an existing one, the new classification configuration will replace the current configuration.
Priority
Set the priority level for the data classification, from high (1) to low (5). When priorities conflict, the final classification is determined by: classification priority > detection record update time > classification modification time.
Select Classification by Directory
Choose the data classification to import by directory.
-
-
Click OK to complete the import.
