Dataphin:View and manage my favorite assets

The My Favorites list allows you to quickly access your preferred data tables, metrics, APIs, and standard assets. This topic describes how to view and manage these favorite assets.

Prerequisites

  • The value-added service for asset operation must be purchased, and the current tenant must have enabled the asset operation module to view dashboard assets.

  • The data service feature must be purchased to view API assets.

  • The data standard feature must be purchased to view standard assets.

Entry introduction

There are two methods to access the personal data center.

Method 1:

  1. On the Dataphin home page, select Administration > Asset Checklist from the top menu bar.

  2. On the asset checklist page, click the Personal Data Center button in the upper right corner.

Method 2:

On the Dataphin page, click your profile picture in the upper right corner to open the user center, and then click Personal Data Center.

View my favorite list

In the My Favorites list, you can see an overview of all favorite assets for which you are the owner. The presentation of data tables, metrics, APIs, dashboards, and standard pages is generally consistent. The image below illustrates this using data tables as an example.

Search area

You can perform a fuzzy search based on the name or description of the asset.

Asset list

Displays relevant information about the asset. You can also perform operations such as view details, view metadata, or remove from favorites.

  • Table assets: Includes the table's name, description, asset source, associated section/project, belonging folder, and favorite time information.

  • Metric assets: Includes the metric's name, description, associated table, and favorite time information.

  • API assets: Includes the API's name, description, and favorite time information.

  • Dashboard assets: Includes the dashboard's name, description, asset source, associated BI space/folder, and favorite time information.

  • Standard assets: Includes the standard's name, standard encoding/standard ID, description, and favorite time information.

The supported operations for assets are as follows:

  • Abnormal Prompt: Hover the mouse over the yellow image icon after the data table name to view abnormal prompt information.

  • View: Only users with relevant asset view permissions support this operation. You can click the View icon to jump to the Asset folder - Asset details page to view the information of the data table.

  • View Metadata Detail: You can click the View Metadata icon to jump to the Asset checklist - Object details page to view the information of the data table.

    Note

    Dashboard assets and standard assets do not support the view metadata operation.

  • Remove From Favorites: After removing the asset from favorites, if you need to favorite it again, you can favorite the asset on the product page.
