Dataphin members can receive system alerts and other message notifications through the Lark group bot. This topic explains how to add the Lark group bot contact information for members.
Permission Description
Metadata warehouse tenant super administrators and system administrators at the instance level are authorized to edit message channels.
Super administrators and system administrators at the tenant level can edit message channels and configure contact information for all members.
Procedure
Step 1: Enable Lark Group Bot Message Channel in Tenant Settings
On the Dataphin home page, select Management Center > System Settings from the top menu bar.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Tenant Settings > Message Channel.
On the Message Channel Settings page, set Channel Settings to Tenant Custom and enable Lark Robot under Basic Channel.
Once the settings are configured, click OK.
Step 2: Configure Lark Group Bot and Obtain Webhook Address
Launch the Lark group where you wish to receive alert notifications on the PC version of Lark.
Click the More icon in the upper right corner and select Settings to access the Group Settings panel.
In the Group Bot section, click Add Custom Bot, provide the bot's name and description, and then click Add.
After successful addition, the WebHook address for the bot will be provided. Click Copy Address to copy it.
Step 3: Add Lark Group Bot Contact Information for Members
On the Dataphin home page, select Management Center > Member Management from the top menu bar.
In the member list, click the Edit icon in the Actions column next to the member you wish to configure.
In the Edit Account dialog box, input the Lark group webhook address into the Lark Robot configuration field.
After entering the information, click OK. The member will then be able to receive message notifications via the Lark group bot.
Note: Due to Lark application permissions, it is currently not possible to specify users via phone number @.
