Dataphin members can receive system alerts and other notifications through DingTalk group bots. This guide details the process of adding DingTalk group bot contact information for members.
Permission description
Metadata warehouse tenant super administrators and system administrators at the instance level are authorized to edit message channels.
Super administrators and system administrators at the tenant level have the authority to edit message channels and configure contact information for all members.
Procedure
Step 1: Enable DingTalk group bot message channel in tenant settings
On the Dataphin home page, navigate to the top menu bar and select Management Center > System Settings.
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Tenant Settings > Message Channel.
On the Message Channel Settings page, change Channel Settings to Tenant Custom and activate Dingtalk Robot under Basic Channel.
Once configured, click OK to confirm.
Step 2: Configure DingTalk bot and obtain webhook URL
Launch the PC version of DingTalk and open the group where you wish to receive notifications.
Click the Group Settings icon in the upper right corner to access the Group Settings panel.
Select Bot, then in Bot Management, choose Add Bot. In the Group Bot window, select Custom to create a new DingTalk bot for alerts and notifications.
In the Bot Details window, click Add to proceed to the Add Bot window.
Input a name for the bot, such as 'Dataphin Alert Notification.'
Configure security settings by selecting the custom keyword method and entering the keyword
Dataphin, then click Finish.Click Copy to copy the webhook URL, then select Finish to complete the bot addition.
Step 3: Add DingTalk group bot contact information for members
In the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page, select Management Center > Member Management.
In the member list, click the Edit icon next to the target member in the Actions column.
In the Edit Account dialog box, input the webhook URL for the DingTalk group into the Dingtalk Robot configuration field.
After entering the information, click OK. The member will then be able to receive notifications via the DingTalk group bot.
