This topic guides you through viewing and configuring the basic information and schedule of an offline task within the property pane. The basic information encompasses the task's name, ID, node type, development owner, operation owner, and description.
Procedure
Navigate to Development > Data Development from the top menu bar on the Dataphin home page.
On the Development page, select Project from the top menu bar (Dev-Prod mode requires environment selection).
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Processing > Script Task.
Single click on the desired compute task in the list to open its tab.
Click Property in the right sidebar to access the Property pane, then configure the parameters in the Basic Information section as follows:
Parameter
Description
Task Name
The name of the compute task.
The length must not exceed 256 characters and must not include vertical lines (|), forward slashes (/), backslashes (\), colons (:), question marks (?), angle brackets (<>), asterisks (*), or quotation marks (").
ID
The system generates a unique ID for the task upon submission, which is immutable.
Node Type
The node type is selected during the creation of the task and cannot be altered thereafter.
Development Owner
By default, the current user is selected. You can also select any other project member.
NoteNote: In the production environment, the development owner is predetermined by the development environment settings and cannot be modified.
Operation Owner
The operation owner, by default the current user, can be reassigned as needed.
Tag
Select one or more tags for the compute task. If no suitable tags are available, click Manage Tags. You are redirected to the System Settings > Development Platform > Node Task Settings-Tag Value page, where you can add tags.
Description
Provide a concise description of the compute task, limited to 1000 characters.
To finalize the configuration, click OK.
What to do next
Once the basic task information is set, for auto triggered nodes, proceed to configure the task's scheduling properties to establish the recurring schedule in the production environment. For more information, see configure scheduling properties.
