Last Updated:Jun 23, 2026

When an imported release package contains data quality changes, the affected objects appear on the Data Quality page for you to manage and publish.

Accessing pending data quality objects

  1. Log in to Dataphin as a cross-tenant deployment user.

  2. On the Dataphin homepage, in the top menu bar, choose Management Center > Cross-tenant Deployment.

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Cross-tenant Deployment > Import Release Package.

  4. In the Actions column for the target release package, click the publish icon image.

  5. Click the Data Quality tab to view the pending data quality objects.

Manage pending data quality objects

On the Data Quality tab, you can filter, publish, view details, and compare versions of rule template and quality rule objects. Available actions vary by object type.

Note

Data quality objects have complex dependencies. Publish them in the order specified in the Instructions section in the upper-right corner of the page. For details, see Recommended deployment sequence.

Actions

Description

Filter

Perform a fuzzy search by object name, or filter by modification time, publishing status, change type, or environment change.

  • Batch search: Click Batch Search. In the Batch Search dialog box, enter the search terms for one or more objects. You can enter up to 1,000 terms, one per line. After you click OK, the system performs an exact search and displays the matching objects in the list below.

  • Filter:

    • Modification Time: Select a start and end date in YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss format.

    • Publishing Status: Select one or more statuses. Options include To be published, Publishing, Published, Publishing failed, and Published with risks. The Published with risks status indicates that the object was published successfully, but the published content is not identical to the imported content. This discrepancy does not affect the object's functionality and serves only as a warning.

    • Change Type: Select one or more change types. Options include Add, Update, and Delete. For more information, see Change type descriptions.

    • Environment Change: Indicates whether the target environment has changed since the last import.

    • Check Object Type: This filter applies only to quality rule objects.

Publish

Republish objects with a status of Publishing failed or To be published, either individually or in batches.

  • Single publish: Click Publish in the Actions column for the target object. In the dialog box that appears, enter a publish name (up to 64 characters) and click OK.

  • Batch publish: Select the target objects, or click Select All or Select All on This Page at the bottom of the page. After selecting the objects, click Publish at the bottom of the page. In the dialog box, enter a publish name (up to 64 characters) and click OK.

    Note

Select All applies to all objects that match the current filter and search criteria. Select All on This Page applies only to the objects on the current page.

View Details

View the details of an object in the target environment.

Note

If the change type is Delete and the publishing status is Published, you cannot view the details because the object no longer exists in the target environment.

Version Comparison

Version comparison is available only when the change type is Update. It compares the imported version from the release package with the latest version in the target environment.

Publishing Details

The Publishing Details dialog box shows basic information, process check results, and exception notifications.

  • Process Check

    • Dependency Check

      • Rule template: If the change type is Add or Update, the system checks whether the data source for the rule template's Dataphin table and global data table exists in the target environment.

      • Quality rule: If the change type is Add or Update, the system checks whether the rule template, dependent tables, internal dependencies, and business attributes used by the quality rule exist in the target environment.

    • Publishing Check

      • Rule template: Verifies whether the publishing process succeeded. In addition to re-running the dependency checks, this check also verifies the number of rule templates if the change type is Add or Update. If the change type is Delete, it verifies that the object has been deleted.

      • Quality rule: Verifies whether the publishing process succeeded. In addition to re-running the dependency checks, this check also verifies the number of quality rules if the change type is Add or Update. If the change type is Delete, it verifies that the object has been deleted.

    • Monitored object: This check applies only to quality rule objects. It verifies whether the monitored object exists in the target environment.

  • Exception Notification: Displays details for specific exception check items.
