  3. In the Scheduling Properties section, set up the resource group for the logical table.

    Parameter

    Description

    Scheduling Resource Group

Logical table tasks require scheduling resources at runtime. These SQL tasks are considered shared resource tasks and do not support assigning specific scheduling resource groups. Dedicated resource tasks, however, can utilize custom resource groups. For more information, see Custom scheduling resource group overview.

    Note

The default system configuration for shared resource tasks includes a scheduling resource pool to facilitate the distribution of all shared resource tasks. To adjust the maximum concurrency limit of the shared resource pool, please contact the metadata warehouse system administrator.

  4. Click Save.

What to do next

Once the logical table resource configuration is complete, proceed to submit and publish the logical table to the Operation Center for scheduling.

  • In a Dev-Prod pattern, publish the logical table to the production environment. For details, see Manage publishing tasks.

  • After publishing to the production environment, maintain logical table tasks through the Operation Center. For more information, see Scheduling center.
