Dataphin:Connect Dataphin to Lark for logon

Prerequisites

After you configure and publish a Lark application for your organization, a company administrator must review the application in the admin console. For more information, see Publish and review custom applications.

Procedure

Step 1: Create a custom application

  1. Log on to the Lark Open Platform.

  2. In the Lark Developer Platform, click the Custom Apps tab, and on the Custom Apps tab, click Create Custom App.

  3. In the Create Custom App dialog box, set the App Name, App Description, and App Icon.

    App Icon: Upload a JPEG, PNG, SVG, or BMP icon that is at least 240 × 240 px, smaller than 2 MB, and has no border radius. You can click LightIcon.png or DarkIcon.png to download the corresponding Dataphin icon.

Step 2: Grant application permissions

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Features > Permissions & Scopes.

  2. On the Permissions & Scopes page, grant the following four permissions to the application:

    • Read basic user information: contact:user.base:readonly

    • Read user email: contact:user.email:readonly

    • Read user ID: contact:user.employee_id:readonly

    • Read user mobile number: contact:user.phone:readonly

Step 3: Configure the redirect URL

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Features > Security Settings.

  2. On the Redirect URLs tab, configure the redirect URL for the application. The URL format is {Dataphin domain name}/sso/feishu/callback. For example: https://dataphin.aliyun.com/sso/feishu/callback.

Step 4: Manage and publish the version

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose App Versions > Versions. On the Versions page, click Create A Version.

  2. On the Version Details page, enter the App Version and Update Details, and select the Availability for the application. After you complete the configuration, click Save.

Step 5: Get application credentials

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, select Basic Information > Credentials And Basic Information.

  2. On the page that appears, obtain the App Credentials, which include the App ID and App Secret.
