This topic guides you through the process of viewing and configuring the basic information of a logical table in Dataphin, including table type, business object, data block, subject area, data timeliness, and owner assignment.
Procedure
On the Dataphin home page, choose Development > Data Development from the top menu bar.
In the top menu bar, select a Project. If you are in Dev-Prod mode, also select an Environment.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Standardized Modeling > Logical Dimension Table or Logical Fact Table.
In the logical table list on the right, select the target logical table and click Property in the sidebar to open the Property panel.
In the Property panel, configure the basic information for the logical table.
Parameter
Description
Table type
The type of the logical table. This parameter cannot be modified.
Business Object
The business object of the logical table. This parameter cannot be modified.
Data Section
The business unit to which the logical table is bound. This parameter cannot be modified.
Data Domain
The data domain to which the logical table is bound. This parameter cannot be modified.
Data timeliness
The data timeliness type of the logical table. This parameter cannot be modified.
Logical table name
Input the logical table name, ensuring it does not exceed 100 characters in length.
ImportantUse only letters, numbers, and underscores (_), starting with a letter. The system automatically converts uppercase letters to lowercase.
The prefix
label_is reserved by the system. The name cannot start withlabel_.For AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL, the table name must be within 50 characters.
NoteOnce submitted, the table name cannot be changed.
Chinese name
The Chinese name given during the creation of the logical table. You can modify this name.
Description
The description provided at the time of logical table creation. You can modify this, up to 1000 characters.
Table owner
The designated owner of the table.
Development Owner
By default, the development owner is the current user. You can select any member of the current project.
NoteThe development owner cannot be set in the production environment; the configuration from the development environment will be used.
Operation Owner
The operations owner is the user currently logged in by default, but can be changed to meet specific business requirements.
Tag
Select one or more tags for the logical table. If no suitable tags are available, click Manage Tags. You are redirected to the System Settings > Development Platform > Node Task-related Settings-Tag Value page to add tags.
Click OK to complete the configuration.
