Dataphin:Configure basic information for a logical table

View and configure basic properties of a logical table in Dataphin, such as table type, business object, data section, data domain, data timeliness, and owner assignment.

Procedure

  1. On the Dataphin home page, choose Development > Data Development from the top menu bar.

  2. In the top menu bar, select a Project. If you are in Dev-Prod mode, also select an Environment.

  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Standardized Modeling > Logical Dimension Table or Logical Fact Table.

  4. In the logical table list on the right, select the target logical table and click Property in the sidebar to open the Property panel.

  5. In the Property panel, configure the basic information for the logical table.

    Parameter

    Description

    Table type

    The type of the logical table. This value cannot be changed.

    Business Object

    The business object of the logical table. This value cannot be changed.

    Data Section

    The business unit bound to the logical table. This value cannot be changed.

    Data Domain

    The data domain bound to the logical table. This value cannot be changed.

    Data timeliness

    The data timeliness type of the logical table. This value cannot be changed.

    Logical table name

    Enter the logical table name. The name must not exceed 100 characters.

    Important
    • Use only letters, numbers, and underscores (_), starting with a letter. The system automatically converts uppercase letters to lowercase.

    • The prefix label_ is reserved by the system. The name cannot start with label_.

    • For AnalyticDB for PostgreSQL, the table name must be within 50 characters.

    Note

    Once submitted, the table name cannot be changed.

    Chinese name

    The Chinese name assigned when the logical table was created. You can modify this name.

    Description

    The description assigned when the logical table was created. You can modify this value. Maximum: 1,000 characters.

    Table owner

    The owner of the table.

    Development Owner

    Defaults to the current user. You can select any member of the current project.

    Note

    This value cannot be set in the production environment. The configuration from the development environment is used.

    Operation Owner

    Defaults to the current user. You can change this to meet specific business requirements.

    Tag

    Select one or more tags for the logical table. If no suitable tags are available, click Manage Tags to go to the System Settings > Development Platform > Node Task-related Settings-Tag Value page and add tags.

  6. Click OK to complete the configuration.
