This topic explains how to configure the resource group for computing tasks, ensuring that task scheduling utilizes the resources from the specified group.
Procedure
On the Dataphin home page, navigate to the top menu bar and select Development > Data Development.
On the Development page, use the top menu bar to select Project (Dev-Prod mode requires selecting the environment).
In the left-side navigation pane, choose Data Processing > Script Task.
Click on the desired computing task in the list to open its tab.
In the page's right sidebar, click Attribute to access the Attribute panel. Configure the parameters in the Resource Configuration section as follows:
Development Task Scheduling Resource Group, Production Task Scheduling Resource Group:
In Dev-Prod mode, you can configure both the Development Task Scheduling Resource Group and the Production Task Scheduling Resource Group. In Basic mode, only the Production Task Scheduling Resource Group is configurable.
Task scheduling runtime consumes resources from the specified scheduling resource group. Each task instance uses resources from this group, and if resources are insufficient, the instance will enter a Waiting for Scheduling Resources status. Resource groups are isolated to ensure stable scheduling.
To set the scheduling resource group, you can only select the Daily Task Scheduling scenario and a resource group associated with the current task's project. For detailed instructions, see Resource Group Configuration.
Selecting the default resource group will automatically synchronize with its configuration updates.
Click OK to finalize the computing task resource configuration.
What to do next
Once the resource configuration for the computing task is complete, click Submit to send the task to the Deployment Center or Operation Center.
In Dev-Prod mode, once the task is successfully submitted, proceed to the release list to publish the task to the production environment. For more information, see Manage Release Tasks.
If your development mode is Basic mode, the task can participate in the production environment scheduling once successfully submitted. You can go to the Operation Center to view your published tasks. For more information, see View and Manage Script Tasks, View and Manage One-time Tasks.
