You can export quality rules for monitored objects for which you have view permissions. You can download the rules, modify them on your local computer, and then import them. This improves configuration efficiency. This topic describes how to batch export quality rules.
Limits
Only custom SQL quality rules for Dataphin tables and global tables can be exported.
Quality rule export instructions
You can export quality rules only for monitored objects for which you have view permissions.
A single tenant can run up to five concurrent export tasks.
If you export many quality rules, the file may take some time to generate. You can check the export history in the batch export panel. For more information, see quality rule batch export records.
You can view the records for your last 50 export operations.
Files that are successfully exported can be downloaded within seven days.
Export quality rules for all monitored objects
On the Dataphin home page, choose Administration > Data Quality from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Quality Monitoring > Quality Rule. On the Dataphin Data Table/Global Data Table page, click the Export Quality Rules button in the upper-right corner. You can choose to Export All Quality Rules or Export By Search And Filter Criteria.
Export All Quality Rules: Exports all custom SQL quality rules for the specified object type in the current view for which you have view permissions. This export includes rules created from both system and custom template sources.
System: Exports quality rules that are based on system-provided custom SQL rule templates.
Custom: Exports quality rules that are based on user-defined custom SQL rule templates.
Export By Search And Filter Criteria: Exports all custom SQL quality rules that match the search and filter criteria in the current view for which you have view permissions. This export includes rules created from both system and custom template sources.
In the dialog box, click OK to export the quality rules.
Export quality rules for a single monitored object
On the Dataphin home page, choose Administration > Data Quality from the top menu bar.
In the navigation pane on the left, choose Quality Monitoring > Quality Rule. On the Dataphin Data Table/Global Data Table page, click the name of the target object to open the Quality Rule Details page.
On the quality rule details page, click the Export Quality Rules button in the upper-right corner. You can choose to Export All Quality Rules or Export By Search And Filter Criteria.
Export All Quality Rules: Exports all custom SQL quality rules for the current monitored object for which you have view permissions. This export includes rules created from both system and custom template sources.
Export By Search And Filter Criteria: Exports all custom SQL quality rules that match the search and filter criteria for the current monitored object for which you have view permissions. This export includes rules created from both system and custom template sources.
In the dialog box, click OK to export the quality rules.
Quality rule batch export records
On the Quality Rule list page, click the Export Quality Rules button in the upper-right corner and select View Batch Export Records.
In the Quality Rule Batch Export Records panel, you can check if the quality rule export was successful. You can also click the
icon in the Actions column to download the quality rules to your local computer and modify their configurations.
